Part Time Muse for sale, one owner, good mileage.
The role of a muse is an endless chase, but a better role I know not. Once you taste the nectar you can rarely go back, yet I have occasionally tried to dip my little toe back into the murky waters of “real job title” life, but, its just not for me, its an overly chlorinated pool that just stings the eyes too much.
The moments of rebellious toe dipping generally happen when my role has reached the point it has as of this moment, the point when you have seen your cherished owner fly to the highs of creativity and surpass the need of any outside stimulation, a bird basking in the perfect environment that they were created for, sun, wind, freedom.
At the point of take off, the point a muse must constantly be seeking to harmonise the surroundings and circumstance to create, the muse is temporarily unemployed, no, temporarily retired is more accurate, and it is a strange moment of satisfaction mixed with boredom.
The satisfaction is not an issue as you can imagine, but the boredom is, hence I have decided to offer up my part time retirement as muse in waiting for an artist in search of such services a muse has to offer.
To apply for my services write in no more than 400 words “why you need the service of a muse”.

Using time not objects to open things seems to work for me, failing that I can use my lighter to prise open most things.

Hi! I’m not looking so much for a muse as for help finding contact info for another gallery, sorry… I like your work, though 🙂
I haven’t had any luck through the web, and I figured who better to ask than another artist? I lost contact with a couple of friends who said they were opening a converted-cottage gallery on Inis Meain, right up from the dock, with a fancy new carved door that one of their brothers made… The friends’ names were Feythe Melanigan and Caitlin MacDonagh. Being a yank and all, I can’t just take the ferry over and look… Do you know of this gallery? Or perhaps was I being fooled? Thanks for your time,

Hi There sorry not to reply sooner, I don’t actually know about the gallery you are talking about, but I will look into it. I have not been spending much time on the computer lately, but I will start posting again soon and I will let you know if I find the people you are looking for. All the best marianne

It is likely that you are the victim of a grand hoax. Last year a person claiming to be Caitlin Macdonagh and her friend, Feythe O’Caelliagh, supposedly befriended me in what became a deep friendship. Caitlin was supposedly living on Inis Meain suffering from terminal cancer and reportedly died on January 25th of this year. I was desperately attempting to contact Feythe in the days following and went first through the authorities and then through a respected innkeeper on the island. I found that no two such people lived on the island and the photographs I had did not match anyone living on the island. With only 120 people on the island it was not likely that the innkeeper was mistaken. I am sorry if you had a repeat experience. It was a time of great grief and bewilderment.

Wow, Scott. Thanks for replying! This is the first “success” I’ve had in my search. That is almost exactly the same story, and grief and bewilderment, that I got. She was recovering from a near-fatal scooter accident (supposedly) in my version. We had been “yahooing” for a good nine months, had (I thought) grown very close. She sent me pics of her and her horse, copies of paintings she supposedly did, and recordings of songs, but then she just vanished in July of ’08. What’s bizarre is that I met her by chance playing a sailing game (that she said she joined as a way to pass the time while she recovered), so it’s not like I was specifically targeted for a hoax, and she never asked for money or anything. I couldn’t come up with a single reason for a hoax like that, unless it was just to screw with someone for a laugh, but c’mon, IMing for nine months, often for four or five hours at a time, and with absolute consistency of character? What would be the point of spending that much time on a simple hoax just for the lulz? I’d really love to find out the truth some day… Why don’t you email me at cowcharge@yahoo.com, we can compare notes. Thanks again, it’s amazing to hear something finally.
